International collaboration towards Medical Physics in Africa. Collaborating with several organizations and institutions on the improvement of health care, especially in underserved regions. Radiation protection is an issue in Cameroon, most radiology departments don’t know or don’t take the subject seriously and are not in compliance with the regulatory authority. We are in talks with Camfomedics e.V to implement training on radiation protection as an integral part of their i.MED program (http://www.imed-academy.org/). MephidA would assist in creating awareness and training in radiation protection.
